Our review
For
- China Telecom's own Xingchen model does live Chinese to English translation on the device
- OFweek reported a launch price of RMB 1,999, below Meta's Ray-Ban Display glasses in China
- The charging case is rated for about 10 full recharges on top of about 7 hours of use
- Doctor Glasses offers a free eye exam and 30 percent off fitting prescription lenses into the frame
Against
- No software development kit for the glasses has been found; only cloud APIs for enterprise agents exist
- It is sold only inside China through Tmall, with no price ever reported in US dollars or Brazilian reais
- China Telecom's own materials show the interface and voice assistant only work in Chinese
- There is no display at all: it cannot show any information in the wearer's field of view
- Battery capacity in mAh for the glasses themselves is not disclosed, only the case's 3000mAh
Tianyi AI Glasses is China Telecom's first own-brand smart glasses, unveiled at WAIC 2025. It has no display: a 12MP camera up to 1440p30 and 5 microphones run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 chip with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
China Telecom's own Xingchen model handles object recognition, OCR and live Chinese to English translation on the device. OFweek reported a launch price of RMB 1,999, undercutting Meta's Ray-Ban Display in China, with about 7 hours of use plus a 3,000mAh case good for roughly 10 recharges.
No software development kit for the glasses has been found, only cloud APIs for enterprise agents. Sales stay inside China through Tmall, no US dollar or real price was ever reported, and no independent review or 2026 market roundup mentions this device, suggesting limited traction a year after launch.
Verdict
No independent review of this device has been found as of 06/09/2026, and it is absent from 2026 roundups of the Chinese market. China Telecom sells this camera-only pair with its Xingchen translation model only inside China, with a Chinese-only interface and no SDK: not for a foreign buyer or a developer.
