Notes
- 1.Display type. Binocular waveguide HUD in a sport-sunglasses frame with a green display color, showing cycling/activity metrics (speed, cadence, heart rate, power, navigation, radar alerts) in the wearer's field of view [REVIEW (sponsored), Make Tech Easier, 2025-04-04; NEWS, road.cc, 2025-04-19]. Compatible with Garmin Edge 540+ computers, Hammerhead Karoo 2/3, Garmin Varia radar taillights and common cadence/power/heart-rate sensors over Bluetooth Low Energy [NEWS, road.cc, 2025-04-19; REVIEW (sponsored), Make Tech Easier, 2025-04-04]. Interchangeable Lake/Gold/Silver/Photochromic lenses; no camera, microphone or speaker (deliberately excluded to save weight) [REVIEW (sponsored), Make Tech Easier, 2025-04-04].
road.cc reported USD 279 early-bird and USD 459 regular on 2025-04-19. The tracker Kicktraq counted USD 1,061,872 from about 2,100 backers. No store price after the campaign was confirmed.

Our review
For
- A sponsored Make Tech Easier review measured the Guardian's frame at just 39 grams
- It pairs by Bluetooth with Garmin Edge, Hammerhead Karoo and Garmin Varia radar, per road.cc
- Road.cc reported swappable Lake, Gold, Silver and Photochromic lenses
Against
- CYBERSIGHT never published a software development kit, so no outside developer can build an app for it
- There is no camera, microphone or speaker, so it cannot record video or take calls
- Status stays ANNOUNCED: CYBERSIGHT's own store today lists differently named glasses, not the Guardian
- It needs a separate Garmin or Hammerhead bike computer paired over Bluetooth to show any data
CYBERSIGHT Guardian is a pair of sport sunglasses with a green waveguide HUD built into the frame. It has no camera, microphone or speaker, and shows cycling data such as speed, cadence, heart rate and power instead of media or calls.
Over Bluetooth Low Energy it pairs with Garmin Edge computers, Hammerhead Karoo units and Garmin Varia radar taillights, according to road.cc, which also reported an early bird price of 279 US dollars against a regular price of 459 US dollars. Kicktraq counted about 1,061,872 US dollars raised on Kickstarter, far above the original goal.
CYBERSIGHT never published a software development kit, so nobody outside the company can build an app for the Guardian. Delivery was originally promised for June 2025, and CYBERSIGHT's own store now sells glasses under different names instead of Guardian, leaving this exact model's future unclear.
Verdict
No independent review of this device has been found as of 06/09/2026. CYBERSIGHT crowdfunded the Guardian on Kickstarter and later shipped it to reviewers, but its own store today sells glasses under different names, so buying this exact model is unclear.
