Everysight Maverick AI

Everysight announced the Maverick AI in March 2026 and funded it on Kickstarter; it has not shipped, and its own FAQ pushed first units from August to December 2026. GizmoCrowd called it the strongest case yet for daily smart glasses, Geeky Gadgets praised the mix of eye tracking, color AR and price, and Gizmodo tested the eye-tracking Pro and called the result a good first draft, still far from polished.

The shared hardware is a 47 g monocular projector Everysight rates above 5,000 nits with 8-plus hours of battery; Gizmodo logged about 9 hours and found it 22 g lighter than the Meta Ray-Ban Display. The current spec sheet declares a 22-degree field of view, and connectivity is Bluetooth 5.2 only, with no Wi-Fi, so the glasses always need a paired phone. A single-vision prescription lens comes built into the frame, without a separate insert.

For anyone asking whether they can build for it: Everysight offers a free SDK for iOS, Android, Apple Watch and Wear OS apps, requested through a form rather than downloaded outright, and no source confirms an app running natively on the glasses. The Pro's eye tracking, tested by Gizmodo, needed 5 to 8 seconds to calibrate and drifted whenever the frame shifted.

Everysight has never shipped this product, and December 2026 is itself a second delay. Anyone who needs working glasses now, not a pledge, has reason to wait for delivery first.
