- 1.Resolution. 1920x1080 per eye (two 0.44 inch Sony Micro-OLED panels, one per eye, each at Full HD 1920x1080, not a combined figure). CORRECTED on 2026-09-06: the earlier version of this field recorded the 'per eye or combined' ambiguity as unresolved; three independent sources (OLED-Info, which specialises in panels, and the technical reviews WearableXP and AndroidFaithful) explicitly describe '1920x1080 per eye' or 'per lens' and 'dual 0.44" 1920x1080 OLED microdisplays' (two physical panels), which settles the ambiguity.

INMO announced the Air3 in China in November 2024 and a US$1,099 list price on 05/09/2025. Kickstarter backers paid US$899 in a campaign closed in December 2025, and Taobao resellers asked CNY 4,759 to 6,799 on 06/09/2026.
The hardware is a Snapdragon octa-core with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, Sony Micro-OLED panels at 1920x1080 per eye, 36 degrees, 600 nits, a 16 MP camera, a 660 mAh battery and 135 g. Here the developer answer is yes: it runs IMOS 3.0 over Android 14 on the glasses, INMO publishes a Unity SDK on GitHub with documentation in Chinese and English, and its support site describes enabling developer mode by tapping the build number ten times, which opens ADB. INMO also claims most Android apps install through Google Play.
The limits are concrete. WearableXP and AndroidFaithful both record video capture stopping at 1080p despite the 16 MP sensor, and the Bilibili reviewer 荷兰豆MrBean, who ranks the Air3 among first-tier standalone AR glasses, names battery life, an immature app catalogue and the price as what still has to improve.
The channel is the risk. The product page on inmo.com returned 404 on 06/09/2026, and INMO's warranty covers only purchases made there: the company registers no warranty for units bought on Kickstarter, Amazon or Taobao.
Verdict
The Air3 runs Android 14 on the glasses themselves, with a public Unity SDK on GitHub and a developer mode INMO documents: your own APK installs without a phone. It serves whoever will program on it, not whoever needs a warranty: INMO honours it only on inmo.com, and that page returned 404 on 06/09/2026.
