Iristick H1

The Iristick H1 is not a pair of glasses: it is a Belgian-made head-mounted module that clips onto a helmet, bump cap or headband, with no chipset of its own. All processing runs on a phone tethered by cable through a 'Pocket Unit', either Android USB-C or iOS Lightning, so battery and app logic live outside the 168 g module.

The module packs a 640x400 OLED (up to 2,000 nits) that flips to either eye, a 16MP wide camera, a separate zoom camera with laser aiming, four microphones and a barcode scanner, all rated IP67. Iristick declares 5 hours of battery from the Pocket Unit.

Building for it is not free or open: Iristick's SDK covers cameras, HUD and voice control across its enterprise line, but reaching it means an NDA and an SDK contract, from a EUR 1,137.50 Developer Package with three months of access, then EUR 1,000 a year for internal use or a reviewed public app under its Certified Software Partner program.

Independent reviews found here cover the Iristick Z1, an older, separate model: Slant called it the only smart glasses on the market with 5x optical zoom and praised its 6-hour-plus battery, noting its Pocket Unit needs about 2 hours to recharge. XR Today liked the Z1's ruggedness but questioned its price.

None of that changes the H1's status: Iristick confirms the last units shipped and the EUR 2,275 model will not be restocked, pointing buyers to its newer G3 glasses.
