Air: a lighter sibling on different combiner optics, polarization volume hologram (PVG). This was second-hand until 2026-09-09, when the launch slide photographed in the official release was read directly: it says '全球最轻的 AR 眼镜亮相' over '下一代偏振体全息[…]技术眼镜整体重量 25克' [OFFICIAL, slide shown in juheimgs.oss-cn-beijing.aliyuncs.com/news/202603/69bbc14205d38.png, the fourth image of juhe.cn/news/index/id/11799; the presenter's body hides part of the middle line, so the words read are the ones legible on either side of him]. LEDinside (2026-06-16) and vrtuoluo.cn had reported the same two facts. The Air's 25 g is not carried into weightG, because that column describes the S1.

Our review
For
- At 4,399 yuan it undercuts every binocular full colour waveguide device with a published price in this catalogue.
- Array waveguide with a MicroOLED panel is the expensive way to put colour in front of both eyes, and it is what the maker claims.
- The launch release comes from the parent company's own newsroom, with the price and the optics stated in the maker's own voice.
- Jenius reaches the roughly one thousand data interfaces the parent company sells for a living, so the assistant has a business behind it.
- The 25 gram JOVE Glasses Air was shown on the same stage, on polarization volume hologram optics.
Against
- No resolution, no field of view and no brightness: the display is described by its technology and by nothing measurable.
- No chip, no memory, no storage, no battery figure and no weight for the S1.
- The company announced a price and no channel: no store page selling the S1 was found anywhere.
- No independent review, no teardown and no hands-on beyond the photographs of the launch event.

The JOVE Glasses S1 is the cheapest binocular full colour waveguide glasses with a published price in this catalogue: 4,399 yuan, against 4,999 for the RayNeo X2, 6,799 for the INMO Air3 and 8,999 for the RayNeo X3 Pro. The comparison is worth making because the cheaper full colour devices on the shelf, the RayNeo Air and Xreal Air families, are birdbath viewers that need a phone or a console at the other end of a cable. The S1 claims an array waveguide with a MicroOLED panel, which is the harder and dearer way to put colour in front of both eyes.
The maker is Jupiter Intelligent, a subsidiary of JuheData in Suzhou, and knowing that explains the product. JuheData sells access to data interfaces for a living. The assistant in the glasses, Jenius, is described as reaching about a thousand of those interfaces: book a train ticket by voice, point the camera at a product and compare prices, switch on a light at home. The glasses are the shop window of an API catalogue, which is a clearer reason to exist than most of what is announced in this class.
Almost everything else is missing. The company published the display technology, the camera and the price, and stopped there: no resolution, no field of view, no brightness, no chip, no memory, no storage, no battery figure and no weight for the S1. It also announced no place to buy it. No store listing, no independent review, no teardown and no hands-on were found beyond the launch photographs. The lighter sibling, the JOVE Glasses Air, was shown on the same stage at 25 grams on polarization volume hologram optics, and has even less published behind it.
Take the price as the news and the rest as unverified. Anyone buying for a project should ask for the resolution, the brightness and the battery in writing, and should ask whether code can run on the device at all, because nothing published says a word about a developer path.
Verdict
The cheapest binocular full colour waveguide glasses with a published price in this catalogue, at 4,399 yuan against 4,999 for the RayNeo X2. The maker states the optics, the 16 MP autofocus camera and the price, and nothing else: no resolution, no brightness, no chip, no battery, no weight, no store listing and no independent review.
