RMB 1,699 was the launch price on 2025-05-25, against an RMB 1,999 list. The global store listed US$399 as a pre-order and showed both frames sold out on 2026-09-06. No price in reais.

For

- LeiKeJi called 38 g with over eight hours of mixed use impressive at launch.
- ShenZhenWare projected first-tier standing from the CES prototype hardware.
- The spec lists IPX4, 4K stills and livestreams of up to 40 minutes from the glasses.
Against
- No public SDK: Lawaken's developer page returns 404 and no device API was found.
- LeiKeJi saw the photo function still in tuning at launch, and no source used a retail unit.
- No display and no HUD: the 95-degree figure in the sources is the camera's.
- Video stops at 1080p30, in single clips of about nine minutes, per the spec.
- The global store showed both frames sold out at US$399 on 2026-09-06.
The View is where LAWK put the camera. The published numbers: a 12 MP Sony IMX681, a Snapdragon AR1, 38 g, 32 GB, four microphones, Bluetooth 5.3 and a 220 mAh cell rated around eight hours of mixed use. Video runs 1080p30 in clips of about nine minutes, with 4K stills and 40-minute livestreams. No display, no waveguide.
The three sources are launch coverage, and they say so. ShenZhenWare, from CES in January 2025, judged the hardware good enough for China's first tier of AI glasses, but said only the finished product would allow a full verdict. LeiKeJi, the day after the May 2025 launch, called 38 g with over eight hours impressive on paper, then noted the photo function still in tuning. VR Tuoluo listed stabilization, night mode and HDR, and named no drawback.
The developer question has no good answer. Lawaken's developer page returns 404, api.lawaken.com is a private backend, and the WAKE-AI model the company plugged into ByteDance's Coze is a partner API, not a device SDK. No documentation and no sideload path was found; the only published route is the companion app.
China list is CNY 1,999, with CNY 1,699 at the May 2025 launch, and the international store carried US$399 as a pre-order, both frames sold out on 2026-09-06. No buyer has published a long test, so image quality after that tuning is unmeasured. Anyone who needs a display or an API will not find one.
Verdict
The View is where LAWK put the camera: a 12 MP Sony IMX681 behind a Snapdragon AR1, 38 g, 32 GB and no display at all. LeiKeJi called that weight with over eight claimed hours impressive, then saw the photo function still being tuned. Lawaken's developer page returns 404: a camera you use, not one you program.
