B by Lenskart is an India-only camera glasses line from the country's largest eyewear retailer, unveiled at Lenskart's November 2025 IPO event and shipped to early-access buyers from May 2026. It runs a Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chip with a 12MP Sony camera capturing 1080p video, three microphones, two speakers, Bluetooth 5.3 and 32GB storage, at 40 grams.
Lenskart built the assistant, branded 'Hey Buddy', on Google Gemini 2.5 Live with over 40 languages including Hinglish, plus hands-free UPI payments specific to India. Prescription lenses from -6 to +6 dioptres are fitted through Lenskart's own network of more than 2,000 stores, the same way as ordinary eyewear.
On development, Lenskart opened the platform to select partners in delivery, entertainment and productivity from November 2025, with no public, self-serve SDK page: access is arranged directly with Lenskart, why this catalog classifies it PARTNER_ONLY.
Reviewers, including Techlusive, GoGi.in and The Bridge Chronicle, welcomed the lower price for India and the official prescription support, but Techlusive and The Bridge Chronicle said the camera, battery and software trail established rivals. Lenskart declares about 4 hours from the glasses alone, near 48 hours with the case, sold only in India with no price outside rupees.
