An OLED microdisplay projected through a waveguide type combiner ('Type of combiner used: Waveguide' in the official spec table) into ONE lens only; the device overlays on the wearer's eye a live image from the device's own camera with enhanced brightness and contrast [OFFICIAL, Manual_en.pdf p.46]. The official manual explicitly instructs the user to calibrate the image position 'through the right lens' when both eyes are equally dominant (section 4.6, p.25), which confirms the projection is monocular even though the frame has a lens opening on both sides.

Luna's waitlist page estimated EUR 3,500 to 5,000 on September 6, 2026. That covers the next batch of 500 units and takes a refundable EUR 50 deposit. There is no list price, and none in USD or BRL.

Luna Glass is an assistive headset from the Dutch company Angstone B.V., aimed at people with night blindness, glaucoma or macular degeneration who keep some central vision. Its camera feeds a brightened, contrast-enhanced image through a 1920x1080 OLED and waveguide combiner onto one lens, at 45 degrees and 1250 nits, per Angstone's manual.
Angstone's FAQ states the device works fully offline and cannot record, store or transmit images, and it publishes no SDK or companion app. A 500 mAh battery gives about 1 hour of use, extendable to roughly 8 hours with a separate USB-C power bank.

Verdict
No independent review of this device was found as of September 6, 2026. Luna Glass amplifies its own camera's low-light image onto one OLED lens for people with night blindness, and Angstone states plainly that it is not a medical device, has not been FDA cleared, and works fully offline. It suits someone weighing assistive tech, not urgent care or driving.
