A resin diffractive waveguide lens developed in house by OPPO, refractive index 1.70, built into each lens ('assisted reality': OPPO calls the product 'aR' glasses, not full AR); a full-color microdisplay projected from inside the lens, with no camera on board. Declared brightness uniformity above 50%.
No official price: the Air Glass 3 never left the prototype and concept stage ('concept product', in OPPO's own words in the Chinese press) from its showing at MWC 2024 (2024-02-26) up to the date of this research (2026-09-05). No official store, retail listing (JD, Tmall, Amazon, Flipkart) or commercial SKU was confirmed in any search performed. An Indian site (apnamobilewala.com) published an article claiming a launch on 2025-08-05 at Rs 89,999 (India), USD 899, EUR 849 or CNY 5,999, but the article itself cites no official OPPO source, no other outlet repeated those numbers, and OPPO's official Indian store does not list the product. I treated that article as unreliable content (probably automatically generated or speculative) and used none of those values. A rumour from a Chinese blogger (April 2025, via ITBEAR, 雪球 and ZAKER) speaks of mass production being 'imminent' (量产在即), with no confirmed date or price and no official word from OPPO up to the date of this research.

OPPO unveiled the Air Glass 3 at MWC 2024 as a 50 g, binocular assisted-reality glasses built around a self-developed full-color resin waveguide, and every hands-on review agreed the design nearly disappears: T3 called it the first AR device its reviewer would consider buying, and SoyaCincau said it looked more like ordinary glasses than the Ray-Ban Meta line, giving away the technology only through the OPPO logo on the temple.
Android Authority credits the resin waveguide with removing the rainbow glare common to other AR lenses, and both Android Authority and TechRadar highlight demos of OPPO's AndesGPT assistant answering questions and reading meeting notes through the paired phone. OPPO's specifications list a 1,000-nit display and four microphones, with no built-in camera, a gap SoyaCincau and Notebookcheck both confirmed.
No SDK or developer program has surfaced: the glasses work only through OPPO's own Air Glass app on a phone running ColorOS 13 or newer.
The bigger caveat is that this remains a prototype. SoyaCincau clocked only about 30 minutes of battery life on its demo unit, and Android Authority notes the two earlier Air Glass generations never reached a global launch either. As of September 2026, OPPO confirms no price, release date, or retail channel.
Verdict
Four hands-on reviews from MWC 2024, including T3 and SoyaCincau, praised the Air Glass 3's ordinary look and 50 g weight, but all flag it as an unreleased concept: SoyaCincau's unit ran only about 30 minutes, and OPPO confirms no price, date, or SDK as of September 2026.
