- 1.Display type. Air 3s: 0.6" single-panel Micro-OLED, RayNeo HueView (RayNeo's own copy calls it "5th-Gen Micro-OLED"). Air 3s Pro: 0.6" Tandem (dual-stack) Micro-OLED, HueView 2.0, this tandem architecture is the reason the Pro reaches ~2x the brightness of the base model (1200 vs 650 nits).
- 2.Resolution. 1920x1080 (1080p); Air 3s Pro also offers a 3840x1080 side-by-side 3D mode
US$279 for the Air 3s Pro at rayneo.com against a US$299 list, checked on 2026-09-06. The base Air 3s is US$269, and the Pro launched in China in May 2025 at RMB 1,599. No Brazilian price found.

For
- TechRadar called the picture-quality jump on the 3s Pro large next to earlier RayNeo glasses.
- PCMag described a bright, vibrant display and called the price exceptionally affordable.
- RayNeo publishes 46 degrees of field, 1080p and 76 grams, and gave no field figure for the Air 4 Pro.
- RayNeo lists prescription support to -10.00D of myopia, with a sample frame in the box.
Against
- The Display Tech Center teardown found no onboard chip or battery: unplug the USB-C cable and nothing runs.
- This file calls the SDK closed: RayNeo's developer portal never opened for this research.
- The same teardown reports no 3DoF and no spatial pinning, so the image only follows the head.
- Two models share the name: 650 nits at $269 on the base, 1,200 nits at $279 on the Pro, list $299.
- Accessories add up in the official store: $64 for the HDMI adapter, $89 for the JoyDock.
RayNeo's pages describe the Air 3s and the Air 3s Pro as a screen you wear: 0.6-inch Micro-OLED at 1920x1080, 46 degrees, four speakers and 76 grams, fed over USB-C DisplayPort by a phone, a PC or a console. The Pro uses a tandem panel at 1,200 nits; the base does 650. Sina Tech dates the first sale to May 27, 2025 in China.
The six reviews here agree and say little else. TechRadar called the base unbeatable value and the Pro a large step forward in picture quality, PCMag pointed at the bright display and the price, ZDNET called it one of the cheapest XR glasses, Gaming Nexus liked picture and speakers. None recorded a drawback, and our research read them as search snippets.
For a developer the answer is short: there is nothing to program inside. The Display Tech Center teardown found no onboard processing and no battery, and reports no 3DoF and no spatial pinning, so nothing stays anchored to a wall. You write for the host, and the glasses show it as a 1080p monitor. RayNeo's developer portal did not open for our research, so this file calls the SDK closed by inference.
It is not for anyone who wants glasses that work alone, a camera or a microphone: the official FAQ names none of them. It suits someone with a USB-C host who wants a private big screen and accepts the extras, at 64 dollars for the HDMI adapter and 89 for the JoyDock.
Verdict
Six reviews, from TechRadar to Gaming Nexus, praise picture and price and record no drawback. The Display Tech Center teardown found no chip and no battery inside. It is the cheap end of the Air line, for whoever wants 1080p and the prescription frame in the box, not for whoever expects it to do anything unplugged.
