RayNeo iO Smart Glasses

The iO is the opposite of a video display. RayNeo gives 33 grams, a binocular monochrome-green MicroLED waveguide of 23.5 degrees at 1,300 nits, IP54 and a 240mAh battery rated up to 48 hours, no camera, no speakers, sound by bone conduction. Numbers diverge: Geeky Gadgets says 34 grams and 1,200 nits, Chinese sources 1,800 peak; this file keeps the official 1,300.

What it does is text: live captions in 55 languages, translation, meeting transcription and a teleprompter. RayNeo AI and Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite are free, the other five cost 9.99 dollars a month. It sells at 449 dollars, listed at 499, and reached China on August 21, 2026 at 2,499 yuan.

The reviews split there. Geeky Gadgets called the transcription fast and punctuated, then listed inconsistent Life Log recall, delay in live translation and answers that slip into Chinese. AndroidGuys flagged the bone-conduction audio and the phone dependence; iNews Zoombangla warned the two-day figure is the maker's estimate.

For a developer this is the hard part. RayNeo's documentation lists Android and Unity SDKs for the X series and Unity for the Air series, and the iO is in none of it; the Innovator Program invites developers, but its portal served no public docs. What is sold is a subscription to other people's models. It suits whoever wants captions with no camera on their face, not whoever needs to run code of their own.
