No processing and no third party app runs on the glasses themselves.

How the score is built

For

Reebok Smart Eyewear is a Bluetooth audio glasses line made by Innovative Eyewear under its Lucyd brand: no camera, no display, an 8-hour claimed battery, and open-ear speakers with two noise-cancelling microphones. It launched in April 2025 with four sport styles and later added a four-style Optical Collection for everyday prescription wear.

Three reviews cover different styles and largely like what they hear. CGMagazine, on the Nitrous, praised crisp open-ear audio and an affordable entry point. The Ghost Howls, on the Octane, found it stable during sport with useful environmental awareness. Run Oregon, on the Voltage, says the claimed battery held up through marathon training and Siri worked reliably mid-run.

Can a developer build an app for it? No. There is no onboard OS and no public SDK: the glasses are a Bluetooth peripheral that routes every AI feature through the Lucyd app or the paired phone's own assistant, with no way to install outside software on the frame itself.

Concrete limits separate the styles. The Ghost Howls found the Octane has no prescription support at all, unlike its Nitrous sibling, and called the companion app poorly built, with an awkward ChatGPT link and audio that leaks enough for bystanders to hear. CGMagazine found the touch controls too simple to skip a track or customize.

Verdict

CGMagazine, The Ghost Howls and Run Oregon all like the audio and comfort of Reebok's Bluetooth glasses, made by Innovative Eyewear under Lucyd. It suits buyers who want simple audio glasses with a prescription lens, via Nitrous or the Optical Collection, not anyone picking the Octane style, which has none.
