- 1.Display type. Monocular AR over an optical waveguide; the exact panel technology (Micro LED or LCoS) is not confirmed by any official source. Robam's own release (robam.com/news/detail/991, 13 March 2026) confirms only that the glasses put prompts in front of the eye through AR, quoting two of them, 该放盐了 (time to salt) and 翻面,再煎30秒 (flip, fry 30 seconds more). It does not name the waveguide, the panel, the colour or the eye: those four come from the press coverage of the AWE 2026 floor, not from the maker.
No price. The maker's own launch release carries none, and neither does any of the thirteen press pieces about it. At the fair Robam said price would decide whether the product works commercially, and said retail before the end of 2026. Six months on there is still no store page.

Our review
For
- The camera sits where the problem is: a stove has to be seen from where the cook stands.
- It closes the loop. The glasses see, the cooking model decides, and the hood and burner act.
- The maker owns both ends, so 'flip, thirty more seconds' is tied to a burner it can control.
- The model is built for one job instead of being a general assistant with a kitchen skin.
- Robam names concrete tasks: telling pork belly from tenderloin, reading flame level, timing the flip.
Against
- Useless without Robam appliances. The glasses are a control surface for one brand's kitchen.
- No SDK, no third party app, no sideload mentioned in any source, official or not.
- No price six months after a launch that promised retail before the end of 2026.
- The maker's release says what the glasses do and never what they are: no panel, resolution, camera, battery or chip.
- A second generation was reported for March 2027, before the first one reached a shelf.
Most makers in this catalogue ship a general assistant on your face and hope a use arrives. Robam does not. It has made hoods and cooktops since 1979, and the glasses it showed at AWE 2026 on 12 March do one job: look at the pan from where the cook stands, work out what is happening in it, and then change the flame.
That last clause separates this from everything else here. The maker's release lays out the architecture plainly: the cooking model it calls Shishen is the brain, the glasses and the seasoning dispenser and the phone are the senses, and the hood, cooktop and steam oven are the limbs. Perception, decision, physical action. Every other pair here stops at the first two, because the third requires owning the machine at the other end. Robam owns it. So when the lens says flip, thirty more seconds, that comes from something that already knows the burner setting and can change it without asking.
The same fact is the problem. These glasses are a control surface for one company's kitchen. No source, the maker's release included, mentions an SDK, a third party app or sideloading, and the product is described everywhere as part of a closed ecosystem. For a developer this is a case study, not a platform. And on the hardware the maker says nothing: its release describes what the glasses do at length and never once says what they are. Panel, resolution, camera, battery, chip, all absent. The monocular green waveguide and the 89 g in the table above come from reporters who saw the demo on the show floor, not from Robam.
Then the price, which does not exist. At the fair Robam said price would decide whether the product worked, and that it would reach shops before the end of 2026. Six months later there is no store page, and a second generation is reported for March 2027. The idea is the best argument here for why these glasses matter. The product is still a stage.
Verdict
The clearest answer in this catalogue to what smart glasses are for, and the least buyable. Robam makes cooktops, and it built glasses that watch the pan and then change the flame on its own burner. Perception, decision and action in one loop, which nothing else here does. It also works only inside one company's kitchen, has no SDK, no published panel, no camera figure and, six months after the launch, no price.
