The commercial product page (global.rokid.com/products/rokid-ai-glasses-style) does only say "Dual-Core Processor" with no chip name, but Rokid's own Academy blog post about this exact device, "Style 1.1 Meet Rokid Ai Glasses Style" (global.rokid.com/blogs/academy-style/style-1-1-meet-rokid-ai-glasses-style, dated 2026-08-04), states it uses "a dual-chip architecture: a low-power chip handles always-on sensing and wake-word detection, while the Qualcomm AR1 platform supports AI inference and camera processing." So "Qualcomm AR1" IS officially confirmed by Rokid for the main chip; only the "Gen 1" generation suffix and the identity of the low-power co-chip remain media-only. Independent coverage (chinasmartbuy.com's IFA 2026 hands-on) names that low-power chip and the generation as "Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 + NXP RT600"; this more specific pairing is still not found on any Rokid-owned page, so treat only "Gen 1" and "NXP RT600" as media-reported, not the base "Qualcomm AR1" identification itself. US$299 on Rokid's global store when we checked on 2026-09-05, a sale price. Geeky Gadgets gave US$349 as the list price on 2026-09-04, and the Style Pack with the Power Capsule costs US$399. No price in yuan or reais was found.

How the score is built

For

  • Rokid declares 38.5 g and up to 12 hours from 210 mAh, four hours more than for its display model.

Rokid AI Glasses Style has no screen. Rokid declares 38.5 g for the frame without prescription lenses, a 210 mAh cell and up to 12 hours, and its own store showed 299 dollars as a sale price on 5 September 2026, while Geeky Gadgets and ChinaSmartBuy quoted 349 dollars as the list price that same week.

Three reviewers agree on what it does well. MMORPG.com called the live translation excellent and put the camera above competing glasses; Geeky Gadgets highlighted the 12 MP sensor, the aspect ratios and clips of up to 10 minutes; iNews Zoombangla said the updates made the assistant steadier.

Can you write an app for it? Not on the glasses. The research file records the SDK as partner only: no public SDK, app store or sideload path was found for the Style, which leans on the Hi Rokid app on iOS 16 or Android 12 for pairing, settings, media and updates. Rokid's Agent Store announcement of August 2026 was not confirmed to reach this display-free unit.

It is not for someone who wants sunglasses first. MMORPG.com scored it 6.5/10, named light bleed around the lenses as the reason and reported detection delays in the assistant. Geeky Gadgets and iNews Zoombangla cited fingerprint-prone plastic, a flat frame that does not fit every face, sound leaking in quiet rooms and wind noise outdoors.

Verdict

Rokid's camera glasses with no screen at all. Rokid declares 38.5 g and up to 12 hours; MMORPG.com measured 45.6 g with lenses fitted and scored it 6.5/10. No public SDK or sideload path was found for this model: it is for whoever wants capture and translation, not for whoever wants something to program.
