- 1.Display type. 0.68 inch Sony Micro-OLED with birdbath optics (curved mirror plus beam splitter) in the Max 2 glasses, plus a wired "Station 2" hub
- 2.Resolution. 1920x1200 per eye when the Max 2 glasses are connected to the Station 2 hub (the default mode of this product, which always includes the Station 2), confirmed by Rokid's official FAQ ('the default resolution of max and max2 is 1920*1080, and it can reach 1920*1200 when connected to station 2', global.rokid.com/blogs/max-2) and by the official PR Newswire release (2024-05-24), which speaks of a '1080p-1200p' resolution. On their own (without the Station 2, plugged straight into a phone, PC or console), the Max 2 glasses run at 1920x1080. Techlicious and CHIP.de (press and partnership) already cited 1200p per eye, now corroborated by an independent review (AppleInsider, 'Max 2' review). Sina Finance (Chinese) still differs with '1920x1080 binocular', and two resellers (AR Compare, UnboundXR) cite '1920x1080 per eye' without mentioning the Station 2 mode, probably describing the standalone mode rather than the operating mode of this bundle.

Rokid AR Spatial is sold as one bundle: the 75 g Max 2 glasses, 0.68 inch Sony Micro-OLED in birdbath optics, tethered to a Station 2 hub with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, Wi-Fi 6 and a 5000 mAh battery under YodaOS-Master. Rokid's FAQ puts the glasses at 1920x1080 alone and 1920x1200 per eye when the hub drives them. Rokid sold the same pair in 2024 as the AR Lite. The store showed US$ 449 on 2026-09-05, from a US$ 648 launch list.
Techlicious, PC-WELT and CHIP carry a sponsorship label, and Notebookcheck's brief is editorial but written from the spec sheet. Three verified buyers on Rokid's own store fill the gap: one reports double imaging and blur along the bottom edge unless the glasses are tilted, another says streaming apps on the hub open at one fixed window size, and a third says the built-in prescription adjustment beat expectations.
The SDK applies to the hub, not to the glasses. The app layer lives in the Station 2, and Rokid publishes UXR3.0 and JSAR for that stack; the glasses are a passive display with nothing to program. If your app is a window on a hub you control, this is a target; if you want code in the temple of the frame, it is not.
Not for anyone who wants a single object: the hub is a second thing on a cable, at the 50 degrees Notebookcheck reports, with no battery hours published.
Verdict
Three of the four press pieces here carry a sponsorship label, so read the enthusiasm with care. The glasses in the box are the Max 2; US$ 449 adds the Station 2 hub, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 under YodaOS-Master, and with it 1920x1200 per eye and a published SDK. Buy it to write for that hub, not to carry one object.
