Sharge loomos L1

The loomos L1 is Sharge's second attempt at camera glasses, unveiled in Wuhan on August 18, 2026, after the company recalled and refunded its 2024 A1 model over photo-quality and Bluetooth complaints, according to Sohu's technology column. The new pair weighs 43 g in titanium and acetate, carries a 12 MP, 111 degree camera, and runs a dual-chip Snapdragon W5100 plus Bestechnic BES2700 platform, which Sharge brands LoomOS 2.0.

Sohu's Timeline column, writing the day after launch, named the L1's proactive AI memory as its real pitch ahead of any camera spec, and credited the frame with cutting nose-bridge pressure by about half against other AI glasses; it also pointed to the 5-second battery swap and a physical magnetic lens cap in place of a software toggle. NetEase's review added a dedicated physical AI button, meant to avoid talking to a voice assistant in public, and Tencent News named that same background memory, alongside comfort, as the L1's two pillars.

Whether the L1 is worth building for is another question. Sharge's own materials describe only closed links to Feishu voice commands and Tencent's WorkBuddy assistant, and no source found here documents a public SDK or developer program, so app makers have nothing to target yet.

None of the four Chinese outlets that covered the launch actually wore the L1 for any length of time, and Tencent News calls the whole bet unproven, tied to the A1 recall Sharge is living down. Buyers outside China have nothing to order, since the L1 sells only there and mass delivery is not expected before the end of 2026.
