Notes
- 1.Display type. A pair of Sony Micro-OLED panels (one per eye). The official product page itself describes the panel technology as Sony's 'industry-first micro-OLED', the same line used in the other VITURE models (Pro, Luma, Luma Pro). The simulated virtual screen is 152 inches at a distance of 4 m, with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz (the page also cites support for 60 Hz and 90 Hz; with the Pro Neckband accessory, the combination is advertised as 'up to 1200p and 90Hz'). A proximity sensor detects when the glasses are taken off ('Wear Detection: Yes').
- 2.Wi-Fi. No dedicated Wi-Fi radio in the glasses, confirmed by the official specification page: the connection to the host device is entirely wired (USB-C to magnetic connector cable, 1.2 m), and the list of direct connections given (iPhone 17, 16 and 15, Steam Deck, ROG Ally, iPad, MacBook, gaming PC and laptop, Android phones with DisplayPort) is all by cable or adapter, with no mention of any wireless link native to the glasses.
- 3.System. The glasses have no general purpose user-facing operating system: they are a display peripheral with no battery of their own, dependent on the host device connected by the USB-C magnetic cable. What is new in the Luma Ultra is an on-board 'proprietary chip' (no source consulted publishes its name) dedicated to computing 6DoF tracking on the glasses themselves. VITURE's official blog says 'Luma Ultra is the first of its kind to feature a proprietary chip that handles all 6DoF calculations directly on the glasses themselves', but that is a tracking coprocessor, not a general purpose OS. The companion app is SpaceWalker, running on the host (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, SteamOS and Steam Deck).
USD 599 for the glasses on VITURE's store on 2026-09-06. In China it launched at CNY 4,299 on JD.com and Tmall, reported by Geekpark and PingWest on 2025-10-20. No price in BRL was found.

VITURE prices the Luma Ultra at US$599, and at CNY 4,299 in China, where GeekPark and PingWest reported the launch on JD.com and Tmall. The spec page gives 1,500 nits, up to 1200p per eye and 52 degrees, and three cameras: one front RGB plus two greyscale depth units, used for tracking, not photography.
Tracking is what the two reviews tested. 9to5Mac wrote that virtual monitors stay where you put them far better than on earlier VITURE glasses and credited the 6DoF, while still reporting residual drift. Tom's Guide confirmed hand tracking works, including on heavily tattooed hands, yet called it unreliable enough to need workarounds.
For a developer the gap shows on VITURE's developer page: it describes a cross-platform SDK generically, for all VITURE XR glasses, and never names the Luma Ultra, while the Luma Pro page has a section written for its own model. No source names the 6DoF chip.
The published numbers need care. Two official VITURE pages disagree on the dioptre dial: -4.0D on the spec, up to -6.0D on the line comparison. 9to5Mac reported -4.0D, against the -5.0D of the VITURE Pro. VITURE publishes no weight: Impulse Gamer gives 77 g, heise close to 80 g, Sportskeeda 83 g. Tom's Guide put the bill near US$900 with the Pro Neckband and said it is not something to wear in public, and 9to5Mac found video capture from the onboard cameras limited.
Verdict
At US$599 the Ultra is the tracking model of the line: VITURE says a proprietary chip computes 6DoF on the glasses themselves, with 1,500 nits declared. 9to5Mac saw monitor drift fall sharply; Tom's Guide still called hand tracking unreliable and put the bill near US$900 with the Pro Neckband. Not for recording video.
