Apple refreshes Vision Pro with M5 chip and Dual Knit Band

Apple announced an upgraded Vision Pro on October 15, 2025, with the 3-nanometer M5 chip (10-core CPU/GPU, hardware ray tracing), a new Dual Knit Band, 10% more rendered pixels, up to 120Hz refresh, and up to 2.5 hours of general use battery life (3 hours video). The headset became available October 22, 2025 at the existing $3,499 starting price, launching alongside visionOS 26 with widgets, improved Personas and expanded Apple Intelligence features.
