Amazon unveils AI smart glasses for delivery drivers

Amazon revealed prototype AI-powered smart glasses for its delivery drivers on October 22, 2025, developed under the internal name 'Amelia.' The glasses include a camera and small display, pair with a vest carrying a physical capture button, and use computer vision to give drivers turn-by-turn walking directions, package scanning and delivery verification. Amazon said the system was designed with input from hundreds of Delivery Service Partner drivers and was being tested with more than a dozen DSPs across multiple US locations.
