Apple plans to unveil privacy-focused smart glasses at WWDC 2027
Bloomberg reported on July 26, 2026 that Apple intends to unveil its first smart glasses at WWDC in June 2027, ahead of a later-2027 shipping date. The report said Apple is prototyping new hardware and software privacy features not present on its current products, positioning privacy as a key differentiator against Meta's camera-equipped, EssilorLuxottica-made glasses.
