Pennsylvania bill would require smart glasses to show a visible recording light

Pennsylvania state representative Joe Ciresi introduced House Bill 2603, reported June 10, 2026, which would require any smart glasses manufactured, sold or used in Pennsylvania to display a visible indicator while recording audio or video. The bill would also require retailers to inform buyers of the state's existing recording laws and would prohibit disabling the indicator light.
