Reality Labs' losses widen to $4.62 billion in Q2 2026, cumulative total nears $88 billion

Meta's Reality Labs unit posted a $4.62 billion operating loss in the second quarter of 2026 on $431 million of revenue, reported alongside Meta's earnings on July 29, 2026. The loss widened from the $4.03 billion recorded in Q1 2026, pushing cumulative Reality Labs losses since the end of 2020 to roughly $88 billion, even as quarterly revenue grew 16% year-over-year from $370 million in Q2 2025.
