HUAWEI AI Glasses

This is the Huawei pair that takes pictures and has no screen. The official spec page gives a 12 MP camera with 4096x3072 stills and 1920x1440 video at 30fps, three microphones, Wi-Fi 6, 64 GB and 35.5 g without lenses, rising to 41 or 48.3 g with prescription. One divergence is open: it announces Bluetooth 6.0, while the 52Audio teardown finds a HiSilicon Hi1105, a Bluetooth 5.2 part.

On the developer question the answer is unknown. No public SDK or API for the glasses hardware was found, and no store or sideload route is documented; the one third-party sentence on Huawei's page describes phone apps hooking a companion-app feature, not code on the glasses. The entry ticket is a phone on HarmonyOS 6.0.0.130 or newer.

The reviews converge on the camera and split on the rest. Leikeji praised low-light stills and a fast assistant, but saw a slight jello effect when the head moves quickly. ifanr rated the camera above the average of the category and got about a day and a half of moderate use, but called the bass weak and the AI still short of the phone: no calendar reading, no photo recall.

Not for anyone outside China, since The Ghost Howls records sales only through Huawei's own site and stores, nor for anyone who does not speak Chinese: the same review found Xiaoyi answers in Chinese even to questions asked in English. RMB 2,499, or RMB 2,899 for the sunglasses version.
