Huawei launches its first AI Glasses with in-house chip, from 2,499 yuan

Huawei launched its first-generation AI Glasses on April 20, 2026, in three design variants at two price points, about 2,499 and 2,899 yuan (roughly $360 and $420). The glasses use a Huawei-developed eyewear chip, weigh 35.5 grams excluding lenses (Huawei's lightest mainstream non-display AI glasses in mainland China at the time), and add AR real-view navigation, landmark recognition, translation, food-calorie estimation, live-streaming/video calls in first-person view, and QR-code payment, with HarmonyOS cross-device integration to Huawei phones and watches.
