- 2.System. A light RTOS, not full Android: RayNeo does not publish a commercial OS name on the official page, but Gizmochina describes the V4's architecture as 'an RTOS-based low-power system, which lets the glasses wake directly into the AI engine without the scheduling overhead of a full Android platform' [Gizmochina, 2026-05-28].
- 3.Water protection. IP67 (dust tight; immersion at 1 m depth for up to 30 min), cited as the first smart glasses in the industry with IP67 certification
CNY 2,199 at the China launch on May 27, 2026, per IT Home. The sunglasses version is CNY 2,399 and the full kit CNY 2,799. No official USD or BRL price was found.

The V4 is the V3 done again with the fundamentals fixed. Camera and audio, no display: a custom 1:1 square OmniVision OG09B sensor, 2.5K video at 30fps, four microphones, one bone conduction, two Bang & Olufsen speakers, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, IP67 and 38 grams. RayNeo publishes no megapixel figure; the official 3024x2268 photo is 6.9 MP.
Gizmochina frames it as polishing instead of adding: 138% faster voice response than the V3, 57% more battery, no new headline feature. Leike Tech gives the square sensor 109% more pixel area than the IMX681, tgbus credits it with ending the crop in vertical and horizontal photos, and neither records a drawback. Both report 11.5 hours of music from the 250mAh pack and 80% charge in 25 minutes.
Availability keeps it in one country: 2,199 yuan standard, 2,399 with the sunglass lens, 2,799 for the kit, the case 299 apart. No official price in dollars or reais, and the global store did not list it on September 5, 2026. Gizmochina describes a low-power RTOS, not full Android.
The development door is the V3's, just as narrow: RayNeo's DevDoc says AI Studio supports the V series only, with cloud agents that cannot expose an external API. A developer gets voice-assistant automation, reviewed in 3 to 5 business days: no camera access, no sideloading. It suits a Chinese buyer who wants the capture, not anyone who needs the sensor from code.
Verdict
The V4 is a polish job and says so. Gizmochina cites voice response 138% faster than the V3 and 57% more battery, with no new headline feature; Leike Tech and tgbus credit the 1:1 square sensor and the IP67, and neither records a drawback. For a Chinese buyer who wears it all day, not for code that needs the camera.
