Notes
- 1.Display type. Optical waveguide. The Glass 2 uses a geometric waveguide and is monocular, in Rokid's own words a split type device; the X-Craft uses a diffractive waveguide and is binocular. Neither official datasheet says what light engine sits behind the waveguide, and the LCoS claim repeated by resellers has no official source. The newer Glass3 uses a different monocular microdisplay, at the same 480x640 documented for the Rokid Glasses RV101.
- 2.Resolution. Glass 2: 1280x720, monocular, confirmed by Rokid's About Us page, which calls it a split type monocular optical waveguide, and by Auganix at launch, which gives 40 degrees and 1280x720. The datasheet redistributed by VSight labels the same figure binocular; no other source supports that, and it is treated here as a datasheet error. X-Craft: 1280x720 binocular, in both the official datasheet and Auganix. Glass3: 480x640 monocular in portrait, per the official SDK FAQ.
- 3.Wi-Fi. 802.11a/b/g/n/ac dual band on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, in the Glass 2 dock. The dock also comes in a 4G variant covering FDD-LTE, TD-LTE, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, EVDO, GSM and CDMA. The X-Craft carries Wi-Fi 6 plus 5G NR and LTE.
- 4.Chip. An Amlogic S905D3 in the Glass 2 dock, and an Amlogic A311D in the X-Craft.
- 5.System. YodaOS-XR, Rokid's own AR system, built on Android 9.0.
- 6.Water protection. IP52 on the Glass 2 glasses. The X-Craft helmet is IP66 and carries ATEX and IECEx certification for zone 1 and 2 explosive atmospheres.
EUR 4,406.00 for the X-Craft on Rokid's German store on 2026-09-06. All four variants were sold out there, and no public price was found for the Glass 2 or the Glass3, sold through business channels.

Our review
For
- Rokid publishes a terminal SDK, a phone SDK and a cloud OpenAPI at x-docs, plus a Get API Key button.
- The X-Craft datasheet declares ATEX and IECEx Zone 1 and 2 plus IP66, and the line holds two FCC grants.
- Rokid gives the Glass 2 a 1280x720 monocular waveguide across 40 degrees, at 105 g on the face.
- Third party platforms such as VSight integrated the Glass 2 and the X-Craft, per the research file.
Against
- No hands-on review of the Glass 2, the X-Craft or the Glass3 was found for this file.
- No public price exists for the Glass 2 or the Glass3; only the X-Craft carries one, at EUR 4,406.
- Every X-Craft variant showed as sold out on Rokid's German store on 6 September 2026.
- The Glass3 needs its own debug cable: Rokid states the charging cable does not expose debugging.
- No prescription lens option is documented for any of the three enterprise machines.
This entry is not a product. It gathers three machines: Rokid gives the Glass 2 a 1280x720 monocular waveguide across 40 degrees, 105 g and a cabled 10,000 mAh dock; the X-Craft is the same idea on a helmet certified ATEX and IECEx Zone 1 and 2; the Glass3 is known only from a developer site. All three run YodaOS-XR, built on Android 9.
Can you write an app for one? On paper yes, in practice only with the hardware in hand. Rokid publishes a terminal SDK, a phone SDK and a cloud OpenAPI at x-docs with a Get API Key button, but the docs address enterprise partners, and the Glass3 needs its own debug cable: the charging cable does not expose debugging, per Rokid.
Buying one is the blocker. The Glass 2 is in no current Rokid storefront with no end of life notice; the Glass3 has no price; and the X-Craft, at EUR 4,406 on Rokid's German store, had all variants sold out on 6 September 2026.
Verdict
No independent review of these devices was found up to 6 September 2026. The slug holds three machines: the Glass 2 of 2020 with a 1280x720 monocular waveguide and a 10,000 mAh dock, the ATEX certified X-Craft at EUR 4,406 and sold out, and a Glass3 with a partner SDK. It is a line for integrators who already own one.
