Halliday's invisible-display AI glasses raise $3.3 million on Kickstarter
Halliday ran a Kickstarter campaign from January 22 to March 8, 2025, for its $489 AI glasses with an 'invisible display' projected into the eye, raising $3,305,917 from more than 8,000 backers against an initial $20,000 goal. Early-bird units were offered at $369, with shipping originally targeted for late Q1 2025. The device, which does not use a traditional waveguide screen, was positioned as a lower-cost alternative to Meta's and other display-equipped smart glasses.
