Meta Ray-Ban Display launches at $799, sells out within 48 hours in the US
Meta's first display-equipped AI glasses, Meta Ray-Ban Display, launched in US retail stores on September 30, 2025, at $799, following their unveiling at Meta Connect. The device pairs a 600x600-pixel, 90Hz, up-to-5,000-nit color display in the right lens with the Meta Neural Band, an EMG wristband for gesture control. Initial US stock sold out within 48 hours of launch, and Meta reported that IDC data placed the product at roughly 15,000 units sold and about 6% smart glasses market share in its first full quarter.
