Meta unveils Ray-Ban Display smart glasses with in-lens HUD, launches at $799
Mark Zuckerberg unveiled the Ray-Ban Display at Meta Connect on September 17, 2025, Meta's first consumer glasses with a built-in heads-up display, paired with a Meta Neural Band wristband that reads forearm muscle signals (EMG) for gesture control. The display is 600x600 pixels at 42 pixels per degree with a 20-degree field of view, up to 5,000 nits brightness, and up to 6 hours of mixed-use battery life (30 hours with the charging case). The glasses plus Neural Band went on sale September 30, 2025 for $799 at Best Buy, LensCrafters, Sunglass Hut and Ray-Ban stores in the US. Meta said global expansion to Canada, France, Italy and the UK is planned for early 2026.
