Alibaba launches Quark AI glasses starting at $537, powered by Qwen AI

Alibaba Group launched its first AI glasses line, Quark AI Glasses, in China on November 27, 2025, entering direct competition with Meta, Xiaomi and Rokid. The lineup includes three versions each of two models: the flagship S1, starting at 3,799 yuan ($537), with dual micro-OLED displays, a Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 chip plus a low-power coprocessor and bone-conduction audio; and the lighter G1, starting at 1,899 yuan. The glasses integrate Alibaba's Qwen large language model for on-the-go translation, AI-generated meeting notes and voice assistant queries, linking to the company's newly launched Qwen app.
