Snap unveiled its consumer AR glasses, Specs, on June 16, 2026, priced at $2,195 with a refundable $200 preorder deposit, first shipping to the US, UK and France in fall 2026. The standalone glasses use dual Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, a proprietary liquid-crystal-on-silicon display and electrochromic lenses, weigh 132 grams (down from 226g on the developer version) in two frame sizes, and offer a 51-degree field of view with roughly four hours of battery life, no external compute puck, and removable prescription inserts.
