Meta launches Ray-Ban Display, its first glasses with a built-in screen, at $799
Meta introduced the Ray-Ban Display smart glasses at Connect on September 17, 2025, its first consumer glasses with a color display, priced at $799 including the Meta Neural Band. The right lens houses a 600x600-pixel waveguide display giving a 20-degree field of view at 42 pixels per degree, with brightness from 30 to 5,000 nits and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Neural Band uses surface EMG sensors to read wrist-muscle signals for pinch and swipe gestures, offers up to 18 hours of battery life, and is IPX7 rated. US retail sales began September 30, 2025 at Best Buy, LensCrafters, Sunglass Hut and Ray-Ban stores, with Canada, France, Italy and the UK planned for early 2026.
