Meta's Reality Labs posts $4.53 billion Q2 2025 operating loss as glasses sales triple
Meta's Reality Labs division reported a $4.53 billion operating loss on $370 million in revenue for Q2 2025, beating Wall Street estimates of a $4.99 billion loss on $381 million in sales. CFO Susan Li told investors the 5% year-over-year revenue increase was driven by higher AI glasses sales, partly offset by lower Meta Quest sales. EssilorLuxottica separately confirmed that Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses revenue more than tripled year-over-year in the first half of 2025, with demand for the most popular SKUs still outstripping supply despite increased production.
