Omdia forecasts AI glasses market to hit 10 million units in 2026

Omdia forecast in September 2025 that global AI glasses shipments would grow 158% to reach 5.1 million units in 2025, on track to surpass 10 million units in 2026. The research firm projected the market would keep expanding to around 35 million units by 2030, a 47% compound annual growth rate from 2025 to 2030, with growth largely fueled by Meta's devices made with EssilorLuxottica.
