Meta's Reality Labs loses $19.19 billion for full-year 2025 despite AI glasses growth
Meta reported that Reality Labs recorded a $19.193 billion operating loss for full-year 2025, up from $17.729 billion in 2024, even as annual revenue edged up to $2.207 billion from $2.146 billion, driven by AI glasses sales offsetting lower Quest headset revenue. In the fourth quarter alone, Reality Labs posted a $6.02 billion operating loss on $955 million in revenue, down from $1.08 billion in Q4 2024. Cumulative Reality Labs operating losses since late 2020 have now exceeded $80 billion, and Meta's CFO said 2026 losses were expected to stay similar to 2025 levels.
