Counterpoint Research reported global smart glasses shipments grew 139% year-over-year in H2 2025, with Meta's shipment share rising to 82%. AI-enabled smart glasses accounted for 88% of total shipments in the period, versus softening demand for basic audio-only models; average selling price for AI glasses rose to $360 from $347 in H1 2025. North America led with 37% of shipments and Western Europe held 30%, while China's share fell to 6% and India recorded 15x shipment growth (to 2% of global volume) following Meta's May 2025 India launch. Xiaomi's shipments expanded more than 200% year-over-year in the period.
